Cliffs of Fol

These high cliffs rise from the turbulant sea to a height of nearly 2000 feet at their center, and an average of around 1000 feet. The land above the cliffs is almost entirely abandoned, with no major settlements having existed there since Cathor Castle was abandoned, and fell ino disrepair. Legend has it that the headland that jut out into the ocean, ending in the Cliffs of Fol is claimed by a fearsome and vindictive Godling that subtly works to keep others out of it’s home. Any sailor that has ever watched the ocean unleash its fury onto the cliffs will tell you that there is nothing subtle about the Godling that lives there, despite what the landlubbers might say.

While there is little evidence to support a Godling’s presence, it is hard to deny that every colonization attempt in the headlands has failed. Government Bureaucrats have taken to calling it the Eastern Wastes, despite its relatively good soil, to help explain away the lack of population in the area. While the headland above is uninhabited, the waters around the Cliffs is teeming with life, and is a popular fishing destination for both Mannish and Kalbian fishermen.
