Godling of Cold Winds in the Darkness. Chained to the southern polar mountain. Twin brother of Ramliya. Ramliya and Akhlut were Takara’s loyal pets, and he used them initially as a crucible to test the residents of Seken. They would wander too and fro across the land weeding out those unable to meet their challenges, and ensuring that nothing disrupted Takara’s plan. This all changed when the Godswar began. Despite the twin’s efforts, Takara felt that Seken was not perfect enough for his desires, and he was going to scrap the world and build his Divine Machine. When The Godsmen rose up the twins fought on Takara’s side, but were quickly driven into hiding by the might of true Deities. After Takara’s initial exile, he used the portal designed to keep his domain from being shut off and his connection to the twins to invest them with a portion of his power, to continue the fight in his stead. With this power at their disposal, the twins when on a massive rampage across the surface of Seken. Several of the Blasted Zones were sites of ancient cities and temples loyal to The Godsmen, and razed and forever tainted by Takara’s wrath. Working together, several of The Godsmen separated the twins, with the intention of chaining them to the two great polar mountains, separating them from each other and binding their power. They succeeded in chaining both, but as Aodan turned to leave, Ramliya struck him. In anger, Aodan whirled and killed Ramliya with a single blow. Ramliya’s corpse is still chained to the northern polar mountain and burns to this day, creating a massive polar desert that encompasses the north. Akhlut is still chained to the southern polar mountain, and legend has it that the arctic waste spreads out from it is the length of his chain, and the biting southern wind his breath as he roars. Akhlut has several followers amongst the savage tribes, as well as a few civilized fishermen dwellers in the frigid southern climate that figure its better to honor the master of the frozen wastes than ignore him. Like most of Takara’s ex-pets, he is conisdered a member of The Rhys-Callay.
(Note- Though chained, Akhlut is still connected to Seken, and as such, can have clerics that worship him. Spells that require his direct intervention function as normal within the frozen south, but have an increasingly higher chance of failure the further from the southern polar mountain the caster is)
